Colin Beaumont
Colin qualified as a barrister in 1982 and spent many years advising magistrates before re-qualifying as a solicitor in 1996 and spending 20 years as a solicitor practising/advising on defence work. He has assisted in the writing of the book 'Criminal Costs - Legal Aid Costs in the Criminal Courts' and he has written a book on advising suspects at the police station. Colin has been training the profession for more than 20 years on topics including road traffic crime, advocacy, trials, police station advice and all aspects of criminal legal aid billing.
